Super Clean HouseSo one thing that people who really save money have in common is that they are organized. They know what they have and where it is. Along with being organized comes being clean. Cleaning is kind of a drag, but if you do something everyday, it isn’t too overwhelming. I have a rotation for cleaning jobs that needs to happen on a weekly basis (like bathrooms, mopping etc). The things I will be focusing on for these 15 minutes are things that you don’t have to do that often, but if you never do them your house will be filthy!

We are going to start in the Kitchen…because well, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen and it would be nice to have it all clean.

Cupboards and Drawers

Today’s task is to wipe down all the cupboard/drawer fronts. You don’t need anything fancy, just a wet wash cloth will do the job for most items. Almost all cupboards have a polyurethane top coat (makes them shiny) which means they are slick and so things don’t really stick to it. Start with your bottom cupboards and drawers. They are usually the ones that get the dirtiest and everyone tends to lose steam towards the end of a job so might as well focus our energy in the dirtiest area! Be sure to get crevices and the top rim of the cupboards and Drawers.
