I saw these on pinterest and had to give them a try. The original recipe comes from Confessions of a Cookbook Queen Although I modified it slightly. Believe it or not I am not actually a huge fan of chocolate. Gasp! I know. I always get the funniest looks when I tell people that. Milk chocolate in candy bars is my least favorite kind of chocolate. But I love Almond Joys. So when I saw this I thought “this will be perfect.” The cookbook queen dipped hers in melted chocolate which I’m sure is delightful, but since it isn’t my favorite I left it out. Plus I’m sure it adds a lot of time to the making of these goodies. So head on over to the Cookbook Queen’s blog and try them out. Add melted chocolate or leave it out I think both ways look nice.
