Coloring contests are a great way to encourage a little more focused (and neat) coloring. My boys are currently each coloring a page for a coloring contest sponsored by our city. Below I’ve rounded up a few links for open coloring contests that I’ve found online. You might also look into contests local to your area.
Breyer: A Horse of My Very Own Kids Coloring Contest
Features a unicorn coloring page and 3 age groups with a prize for each group. The page has to be mailed in by June 30th 2020.
This contest is for kids 7 and younger. Artwork can be submitted online and the deadline is April 15th 2020.
OWL Kids Creative Creature Coloring Contest
Kids ages 8-14 can create a drawing of their own creature and a list of facts about it for a chance to win a prize. Deadline is April 15th 2020.
Dover Coloring Books Spring Coloring Contest
Kids can color a spring themed coloring page from Dover Publications and enter for a chance to win a $25 gift card. Deadline is April 30th.
I’m sure there are many more, but these contests were the ones that seemed to be open to most participants. Have fun coloring!
